Machining is the abbreviation of machining, which refers to the process of removing materials through precise machining. The main work of machining is to realize the fine machining of raw materials through machine tools. What is machining? What are the precautions during machining?
What is machining?
Machining is divided into manual machining and numerical control machining according to different machining methods:
Manual processing: refers to the method of processing various materials through the manual operation of milling machine, lathe, drilling machine, sawing machine and other mechanical equipment by mechanical workers. Manual processing is suitable for small batch and simple parts production.
Numerical control machining: refers to that mechanical workers use numerical control equipment to process, including machining center, turning and milling center, WEDM equipment, thread cutting machine, etc. the vast majority of machining workshops use numerical control machining technology.
Precautions during machining:
1. The operator shall operate according to the specified requirements. If he wants to leave the machine tool, he shall turn off the air source and power supply, and shall not leave the machine tool unattended;
2. The machine tool shall not be used under overload or performance, and preventive maintenance and equipment maintenance shall be carried out in time;
3. Tools, workpieces, etc. shall be correctly clamped and firmly clamped, and heavy hammering is not allowed; Knives and abrasives shall be kept sharp. If they become blunt or damaged, they shall be replaced immediately.
4. The safety protection device shall not be disassembled at will. If there is no such device, the machine tool cannot be used.
5. Keep the site clean and tidy, and do not put tools, workpieces or other sundries on the machine tool.
6. Pay attention to the operation of the machine tool at any time. In case of any abnormality, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
